Apple’s A13 and A14 chips defeat Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 in first benchmarks
Qualcomm has formally exhibited benchmarks for its new lead Snapdragon 888 processor, which is required to control best in class Android gadgets in 2021. The benchmarks, while good, show that the Snapdragon 888 falls behind Apple's A13 and A14 processors.
As first definite by AnandTech, the Snapdragon 888 chip procured a solitary center score of 1,135 and a multi-center score of 3,794 in Geekbench 5 testing. The iPhone 12 Pro, which is controlled by Apple's A14 chip, scored 1,603 in single-center testing and 4,187 in multi-center testing.
With respect to the iPhone 11 Pro controlled by the A13 chip, it scored 1,331 in single-center testing and 3,366 in multi-center testing. In this manner, the Snapdragon 888 is really ready to best the A13 in multi-center testing, yet marginally.
